These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of CV Career ("we", "us") and the services available on our website and applications (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required by your local law to use online services. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2) Your account

A) Account security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • Any activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account is compromised, contact us immediately.

B) Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and using the Service.

3) The Service

CV Career provides tools to create, edit, and export resumes, and may offer additional features such as templates, AI-assisted flows, and blog content. We may change, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.

4) User content (your resumes and uploads)

A) You own your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including resume drafts and profile information ("User Content").

B) License to operate the Service

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

C) Responsibility for your content

You are responsible for your User Content. Do not upload or generate content that:

  • Is illegal, harmful, or infringing
  • Contains hate speech, explicit sexual content, or violent content
  • Violates the rights of others (privacy, copyright, trademarks)

5) Content moderation and reporting

We may allow users or moderators to report content that is violent, sexual, hateful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate.

If content is reported, we may:

  • Review the content
  • Restrict access
  • Remove the content
  • Suspend or terminate accounts in serious cases

We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed immediately.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service
  • Abuse rate limits or attempt automated scraping
  • Use the Service to distribute malware or spam
  • Interfere with other users’ access to the Service

7) Third-party services (Google, LinkedIn, Stripe)

A) Sign-in providers

If you sign in via Google or LinkedIn, their own terms and policies apply.

B) Payments

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s terms apply to payment processing. We do not store full card details.

8) Plans, subscriptions, and billing (if applicable)

If the Service offers paid plans:

  • Pricing and features are shown on the pricing page
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled
  • You can cancel according to the cancellation flow available in your account or by contacting support

No refunds are guaranteed unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

9) Intellectual property

The Service, including code, designs, logos, templates, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by CV Career and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell parts of the Service without permission.

10) Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not provide legal, tax, or professional career guarantees. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific outcome.

11) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CV Career will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
  • Any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service

Our total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or 0 if you used a free plan), unless your local law requires otherwise.

12) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules apply.
