These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Jobportalix ("we", "us") and the services available on our website and applications (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility
You must be at least the minimum age required by your local law to use online services. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2) Your account
A) Account security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- Any activity that occurs under your account
If you believe your account is compromised, contact us immediately at contact@jobportalix.com.
B) Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account and using the Service.
C) Sign-in providers
If you sign in via Google or LinkedIn, their own terms and privacy policies apply independently of these Terms.
3) The Service
Jobportalix provides tools to create, edit, and export resumes and cover letters, as well as AI-assisted features (resume builder, cover letter generation, interview question generation), a jobs board, and a recruiter platform. We may change, improve, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available or error-free.
4) User content
A) You own your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including resume drafts, cover letters, and profile information ("User Content").
B) License to operate the Service
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
C) Responsibility for your content
You are responsible for your User Content. Do not upload or generate content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, or infringing
- Contains hate speech, explicit sexual content, or violent content
- Violates the rights of others (privacy, copyright, trademarks)
5) Recruiter accounts and job listings
A) Company registration
Creating a recruiter account and registering a company on Jobportalix is free. No credit card is required to register.
B) Publishing job listings
Each job listing is published for 30 days. Recruiters may choose from the following plans:
- Free — 30-day visibility, included with every recruiter account, renewable each month
- Standard — one-time fee, boosted visibility, company logo, stats, candidate notifications, listing refresh every 3 days
- Featured — one-time fee, top position in all results, featured badge, homepage placement, advanced stats, listing refresh every 24 hours

C) Content moderation
All job listings are subject to AI moderation before publication. We reserve the right to reject or remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.
D) Company deletion
Deletion of a recruiter company account requires review and confirmation by Jobportalix support. Once confirmed, the action cannot be undone.
6) Content moderation and reporting
We may allow users or moderators to report content that is violent, sexual, hateful, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate.
If content is reported, we may:
- Review the content
- Restrict access
- Remove the content
- Suspend or terminate accounts in serious cases
We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed immediately.
7) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the Service
- Abuse rate limits or attempt automated scraping
- Use the Service to distribute malware or spam
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings
- Interfere with other users' access to the Service
8) Third-party services (Google, LinkedIn, Stripe)
A) Sign-in providers
If you sign in via Google or LinkedIn, their own terms and policies apply.
B) Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to all payment processing. We do not store full card details. Payment receipts and invoices are sent automatically to your registered email address by Stripe.
9) Candidate subscriptions and billing
Jobportalix offers optional paid plans for candidates to access premium resume and cover letter features:
- Free Trial — 0€ for 7 days, then 25€/month
- Pro Monthly — 25€/month
- Pro Quarterly — 20€/month (billed every 3 months — 60€)
- Pro Semi-Annual — 17€/month (billed every 6 months — 102€)
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
No refunds are guaranteed unless required by applicable law.
10) Intellectual property
The Service, including code, designs, logos, templates, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Jobportalix and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or resell parts of the Service without prior written permission.
11) Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".
We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in interviews, job offers, hires, or any specific professional outcome. AI-generated content is provided for assistance only and may not be accurate or complete.
12) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobportalix will not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, lost data, or business interruption
- Any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service
Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or 0€ if you used a free plan), unless your local law requires otherwise.
13) Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required for security or legal reasons.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules apply.
